Forgotten Life

Contributed by InexactExactness on Monday, 30th December 2002 @ 01:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

With the pen in my right hand
I write out my story
I write out my feelings
Black against the white
Flowing seemlessly
I say what I need to say
Only it's written down
So topsy turvey
My life's so boring
I can't remember anything
It says the same stuff
Only repeated
Over and over again
It's later now and I'm still thinking
A block has come over me
Is that my whole life?
To be forgotten
When I try and think about it?
I regret it ; the wondering worship
Of the thoughts that're in my head
There's no point in remembering
The nothing that I've done
I've done nothing to complete the end
I'm lost and forgotten
Battered and confused
I'm hung out like a plastic bag
Beaten and abused
