Lost Gold
A dust golden cow elephant
walked passed my window,
since this does not happen
daily I ran out and stopped
her “ Why are covered in
golden dust” “Couldn’t find
water so I had a dust bath”
she tartly said. “Tell me where
and I’ll hose you down.“
“I think not by the time I get
back from town I have to buy
a ton of apples, you will have
scooped up the dust and changed
it into paper money and I will
be ignored, grey elephants are
a common sight around here”.
