Little minx
How easily
Stereotypes
However complex
Overcome thought
Even for a moment
Touch and go
Saw and heard
Dancing on fingertips
Of the Puppet Master
Turning tables
A turning muse
Somewhere in the dark
Words intermingle
Big Time, small smiles
Archaic mathematics
I know you well
You know me well enough
We know nothing
But share in the show
I'll take the time
When you realize it
A currency you don't know
Lost and found
You cling to one
Two things I know
You are not one
I met you before
Somewhere on the line
Familiarity smacks sour
In the flesh of my jowls

This poems seems a little private and mysterious and requires inside info that readers are not privy to, but I really enjoyed the mastery of word usage. |
