I remember it well
When I was handed the role of fool
And accepted, with blood gushing
From the lip I had to chew
Waited with the utmost patience
With acceptance of inadequacy on my part
Begging you,
Preach more of my flaws
Reach not to my claws
Our respectable sexes
Receiving perverse versions of our struggles
Though yours--straight from the source
And my associates left in the dark
Dwelling like a cancer
On past, present, while murdering a future
One we dare not speak of
While delaying my departure
With the softest of words, caresses, kisses
If indeed I do remember

This is good, if a bit confusing to those who don't understand the situation. However, it's poetry, so thats more than fine. I like it. It's very...eloquent. Keep up the good work. |
