is this happiness?
this feeling that i feel inside
this smile that's been on my face
that i no longer have to hide
is this happiness?
this sudden confidence in me
this feeling that i am good enough
that i finally can see
is this happiness?
this brilliance that i hold
this precious thing inside of me
that dwells within my soul
is this happiness?
the finality of freedom and love
the sound of the birds and smell of the flowers
the sun in the sky above
this is happiness
breathe in everything
let the beauty consume me
open my eyes and spread my wings

| sounds like happiness to me, good luck with that. I sometimes really hate reading poems about peoples personal feelings but this one is really good, well done. |

| This struck me as a very deep and honest poem it also struck a chord in my heart, the simple wording conveyed your joy without falling into the flowery saccharine that most emotional poetry falls into. I like how you broke from the rhythm of your poem in the final stanza, it made final line that would have seemed blindly optimistic seem like a true expression of personal vindication. bloody good write, congratulations |

| Love your poem, really well written and although it's personal to you, it's trully wonderful because it's written in such a way where others can relate it to themselves. Stay happy forever. it's the most wonderful feeling to have. |

| Very, very nice write. And i have to say that it does very much seem like happiness, and it's not so often that i find a poem that positively beams with optimism and light. I applaud your sense of rhyme and talent. I hope to read more some time. Keep it up! |
