Touched by the stars

Contributed by Jimmato on Thursday, 12th May 2005 @ 10:31:19 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

A blessing upon me
Sky clouds over to cool the day
When the breeze picks up
And blows the haze away
With specs of lightning upon his lips
The sky meets the earth in a sweet sweet kiss
Cherish it all it is life

Bridge:
The beauty of life
Not a gift must be given back
For some a journey
For others the fast track

Chorus:
Something wrong deep insided
Don't ask why
Be sure I know
Something tugging upon my soul
its pulling me each ways outta control
Touched by a point of darkness
Not a star in the sky that could light your faltering way
Marred by a ripple
The reflection not yours but a moment in decay

Taken from me
Ground so parched as the clouds race by
Silence peirced by thunder
The moment lost so again we die
With rain such fury upon her breast
The earth lays still in stark contrast

Outro:
The beauty of life
Like a splash of water held within your hand
It slips through your fingers
When you close your eyes you can't notice when its gone.

These lyrics are so touching. Having lost so many in my life, I do understand the feelings emoted here in print. Life is such a precious gift and, yes, we should cherish each and every day. beautiful work.
