Innocence

Contributed by InexactExactness on Sunday, 29th December 2002 @ 07:00:00 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Covers filled
With life as it moves
So calm
We lay here and watch it breathe
Our bodies all as one
And we are one in all
Cool down
The fingertips resting on
My soul
Heart beats the loving lull
of the times in which we live
The moment calls our name
It screams at us
For us to be still
You lay asleep
But I know that you are watching me
I know your eyes
So dark are the colors
Yet light floods through them tenderly
Breathe out
I feel your breath warmly now
So sweet the lasting smell
of the perfume that you abuse
The sea is calm
The breaks have soon ceased
You're asleep
I know that you love this wait
The wait for me to say
Look into my eyes
Kiss me
Kiss me so lovely
One time
Maybe just on the cheek
I love this innocence
And I'll never let it die

The sea is calm splashed upon my soul and neither wind nor waves from it's taunts shall move it...the innocence of me within love's kiss is my desire for true love in every way...taunt me lay asleep tenderly upon velvet kisses of fire...then open your eyes of gray so deep like underneath the sea that's never seen...i think if you ever stop writing that i will pass away lol....i love reading your poetry it's so breathtaking...

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
