I'm sittin here reminicin, wonderin if you remember,
Bout the times we used to have, you were nothin but a member,
Yeah you can say that family is only blood-related,
But boy, family is more to me then that, you were a part of it,
And here I've clearly stated
So many people adored you, I cannot deny that,
Everyone thought you were an angel sent from heaven,
To them, there was nothin that you lacked
But our friendship was different, not many can understand,
How we kept in touch for those few years,
We didn't put anythin on demand
The seasons changed, and so did we, but we never missed an oppurtunity,
To see each other at least once, its just how we used to be.

Yes, I agree, family is more than blood lines. I think when you embrace someone in your life and in your heart, those memories never die or leave. The person may actually go away but the feelings of friendship never do. This is a love piece of work.
