Perfection like that smooth vase, svelt
and serene. To the observant among us
there may be cracks to conceal, lines
that only the tick-tock can reveal.
Vanity's mask, regard but don`t feel,
Don`t breathe the suffocating, soft smell
Of sweet perfection that they tell.
The stale vapours of adornment disguised
as life giving, conceal the odorous element
the reflective skin shall yet let in.
