Battles of the heart and the head.

Why my love do you hide your heart so?
You won't let it speak, because
your head tells you no.

Your heart says to love me,
your head says your nuts!
For the heart believes in true love,
it follows its passion.

While the head is a cynical old fool,
it only believes what's proven to be.
Only after it has proven facts,
will it let the heart speak.

So listen to me heart,
here's what you do,
sit down and write everything down.
Give that head all the facts.

You can tell it about all the things that i do,
in so many ways to show i love you.
Tell it the distance that I travel
for only a moment of time with you
and about the silly little things
that we do just to spend time
with one another.

You can talk of the poems that are written
all about us and our forever together.
Write down every thing that we would both do
in our live together, just me and you.
Once you finished putting this all down,
The head will have all of its facts
then it will see we were meant to be

Thats Awesome! Being myself, on the other side of this particular situation, it was a fascinating read. ANd, of course, well written. Great job.
