WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME?

Topic: AnniversaryPoems

WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME?

(She) "Will you still love me,
when wrinkles frame my eyes?"

(He) "When I look at a beautiful picture
'Tis not the frame I see.
I see only the painting and
the Artist's creativity!"

(She) "And when my hair fades
with grey and then it's white?
In your eyes, will I still
be all right?"

(He) "When I'm embracing you
in my loving arms true,
I don't even notice the color,
Is it dark or light?"

(She) "My memory may fade,
I might "forget" as it becomes dim.
My waist won't be as thin.
Will you still request a "Love-in?"

(He) "Have you forgotten my dear,
my memory too, will disappear.
Your waist curvaceous thin?
I only see your heart, deep within!"

(She) "Will you still love me when I have
enlarged knuckles on my pretty hands &
my legs no longer heed commands?"

(He) "I'll never see the knuckles deformed,
Only the deeds those hands transformed,
and warmed!
When your legs give out on you,
Mine probably will too.
I'll buy a rocking chair built for two!

(She) "As I lose my teeth one at a time,
replacements by design.
Will you still love my smile,
and kiss me, and not revile?"

(He) "Teeth, lovely one, are for chewing.
What does that have to do with kissing?
I can close my eyes and feel your smile.
Soft warm lips, truthful, no beguile!"

(She) "And as the fleeting years fly by.
There will come a day, to say "Goodbye."
Will you still love me then, and hold
me close to your heart, my friend?"

(He) "I promise, my love, I'll hold you near
to my heart, 'til your last breath.
I pledge to you, I'll still love you,
even, after death!"

On this your 9th Anniversary Day.....
Love each other intensely in every way.
'Til death do you part,
Cultivate love with all your heart!

P.S. If only I could be nearer to you.
I'd watch your little kids and puppies too.
While you escaped together.....to the
Holiday Inn to love each other!
*smiles*

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DAY!

with love and hugs too!

Momma ConSue this is so touching and beautiful as only the way u can write it.

To Christina and Rob,

You'll love each other today
You'll love each other tomorrow
You'll laugh away
All of your sorrows
For you have each other
To fall back on to
An eternity of love
I bestow on to you
With each passing day
The love gets strong
Know that together
You both belong
A toast to you both
May your day be filled with love
Today, tomorrow an eternity
Be blessed from up above

Happy 9th Anniversary may u have many more to come. Blessings to u both.
*hugs*

This I will keep tucked away in our memory album,Theres just not enough words to say Thanks to something so warm & beautiful, just like you!I truly loved & the comments left behind on both poems, yours of course was better then mine I had only threw it together in a short time. I love ya for all that you do.We just had a nice day at home with the kids, was going to go out for dinner but Leann fell & bumped her lip & head & mommy of course was too upset to leave! It was still special with Roses sent at my door step,an angel in my garden, and a large wind chim. These are the gifts he gave to me.Christina
