I'm Sorry

Contributed by phill on Wednesday, 11th May 2005 @ 01:34:15 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I'm sorry that I made you sad
I'm sorry I made you cry
I'm sorry that I upset you
I'm sorry you said goodbye

I'm sorry that I did tried too hard
I'm sorry I drove you away
I'm sorry that I did care too much
I'm sorry your mind I can not sway

I'm sorry to lose your friendship
I'm sorry I miss you so much
I'm sorry I couldn't walk away
I'm sorry we can't keep in touch

I'm sorry you have moved on now
I'm sorry I'm left behind
I'm sorry I wasn't good enough for you
I'm sorry I couldn't change your mind

I'm sorry that I miss your touch
I'm sorry I miss holding you
I'm sorry I miss your smile
I'm sorry for what I put you through

I'm sorry you couldn’t give me a chance
I'm sorry but you know I had to try
I'm sorry that you can't feel the same
I'm sorry when I think of you I cry

I'm sorry for what has happened
I'm sorry for what we've been through
I'm sorry for how we both must feel now
But I'm not sorry for having known you
