Close call with the void

Close call with the void

I remember it well
In my dark that is my personal hell
So many times I have stayed
With the edge I have played

It was fine and dandy
It was as good as fresh candy
But then again it was pain
There was never any true gain

So with the void I took care
So as not to with my life dare
Many times it was close
So as to cause my friends to say gross

This was something that
I was staying good at
But then one day
From the edge I did stray

I got to carried away
And on the edge I couldn’t stay
It was strange and weird
And now I know why ever one feared

The cold burns like a hot coal
And the burning chills your core soul
There is no direction in the lost
Around nowhere your soul is tossed

The pain that is you do not feel
After experiencing this you will never heal
But I was luck, I got out
To tell you all what the void is about

The void is there to take your life
To cause you pain and great strife
It will not warn you of what it will do
And by the time you find out you’re already through

So let this be a caution to all
If this is where you play do not fall
Instead vacant, leave this place
So that you can another day face

you expressed your feelings so deeply in this piece. maybe a tab bit to long, but thats just my opinion. your rhymeing was flawless, though kind of simple.
i liked this poem, i can relate. keep it up, i look forward to more.
