I got the low down blues
Looks like they sunk again
The midnight train signaling
Look like I’m gone again
The next stop Tuscan
The desert comes within view
I got them dry heat blues again
A sand castle for a home
Down comes red rain again
The blue sun within reach
The sand glistening
The wind whispering
I got these cool breeze blues
My heart is fluttering
Same emotions again
The first step stuttering
The saxophone notes
In a distance they wail
I got these goose bump blues again
Chasin’ my own lost tail
I can see the green river again
Its current unmistakable
I got the tear drop blues again
Feelin’ down this way
Not much a person can say
The bluest blue of all these rays
I got the blues today
Feelin’ down this way

This actually sounds like song lyrics. Colorful ones at that. You could sing this on Beale Street in Memphis and be a hit! As a song, I like it.
