A vertical uprising
The people are restless
The masses mesmerizing
Their chants of rebellion
An overlord zealous
Possessions in jeopardy
The gold he collected
Given back to the community
The underpinnings
Of a demented society
An eclectic culture
Founded on generosity
An inverted revolution
People take up arms
The only conclusion
The return of the heretic son
A convoluted representation
The people have no voice
Persecuted ethnicity
The people will be heard
A charismatic leader
Has restored their drive
The people have invested
It is he who shall revive
A coupe d'etat inflicted
Overthrown politics
A rouse to be embellished
The glory of freedom persists
Hung by his broken neck
The King dangles in the wind
In the public market square
The peasants and merchants prepare
A new world has been cast
Free at last, Free at last
The future of morality
In their shaky virgin hands
A declaration of unity
Imparted on all who dare
The preservation of this country
No longer just stolen land
The children will inherit
The volatile predicament
They like their fathers
Will have to fight to be remembered

Intriquing write here. Rather reminds me of the saying the sins of the fathers shall be laid upon the shoulders of their children. A utopian government will never exist no matter how hard we try but we must at least keep trying for betterment of life. Splendid.

Very good, A good expression of the truth that there are many revolutions of noble purpose, but few of them result in the freedom ours prodused. Sort of a Workers Paradise Lost, or Animal Farm scenario. |
