To take the time,
To take, the Time
And say
Stop your acidic glances!
The spiteful peep from above your book,
Every time.
How you kept me with that look,
Kept me focused on those eyes,
Worshiped friend I know despised.
Kept me alive with those black green eyes
Even though….
To stop
I must stop and make the time to think again.
Think of future heights I’ll see
Of loves that one day will love me
And not of what could never be.
