The bed of thorns where I lay
Is where I consummate sin in pain
Until my reflection's shattered
By the loss of what mattered.
Pieces of my nothingness scream
To be woken up from this reality
By breaking each tie at the seam
Of my weathered mentality.
As a dream I'll die another day
With truth leaving me frayed
Until the glass is stained red
From the thorns of my bed
. . .
That are tainted with blood
And stain each petal of love.
