resuscitation

Contributed by derwydd on Sunday, 29th December 2002 @ 12:20:00 AM in AEST
Topic: mystical

Time trickles by,
Like water from an ever-leaking dam,
Constantly suffocating, restricting.
This frail flesh holding me away.
My bonds and fetters
Consist of flesh and blood.
It is release I desire,
Release from desire.
So severe my bonds,
Draw me closer to you,
In an affinity of communion.
Allow me the comfort of your wounds,
For they would be my own,
Had I faced reality,
Had I braced my soul to be pierced,
Or steeled it for the spear.
Heal the sickness of my soul.
Draw out the disease of my flesh.
Give me a draught of healing water.
Look into my eyes, my Saviour.

hello allyn, its good to know that youre faith continues to grow and flourish, i know how important your spirtiual life is to you. you have the ablity to put across a message in a few words while others would require hundreds. your discriptive vagueness creates a beautifully flowing poem.... your very talented allyn, ive always thought so. tell me when you post more.....
