wide eyes through time

What of delectable hearts, where may they express their thoughts?
Familiar responses leave romantic history untouched,
Their freedoms are but a slave to choice,
Left to break the air only to let out a bounded voice,
Patterns in volition, gleaned from a terrestrial host,
I suppose I shall lie here, absorbed yet alone,
Wide eyes will capture the funny tones,
Knowing meaning as only a game of reference and harmony,
Aimlessly tasting the future, left to watch this instant meet the last,
Meanwhile airy romance guides the voice,
Gazing with liquid filled eyes, and searching the darkness,
Armed only with youthful faith.
