Welcome to eternal Hell;
put me in a padded cell!
Lock me up, and throw away the key
This place here, it set me free....
Now I've let her into the place where I dwell
Wondering what the **** made me drop that bombshell??!?
I can't go back; I can only push through
Now loads of questions she will pursue...
Get me back to that protective shell---
and now my friends I bid
FAREWELL.

| i liked how you kept it simple.... not using too descriptive words or trying to set a certain mood... which i'm sure some people would have a problem with, but i like it because you let the reader describe it to him or herself... and i liked the last few lines.... its open to reader's imaginations, did the person kill himself, were they taken away or maybe the just gave up on their friends.... anyway, good write |

Scorp this is a thought provoking write. I think there is more to it. I loved the way you've conveyed it leaving it open to the readers imagination to guess on the ending.

PARTIALLY EDITED OR NOT,THAT POEM ROCKS I THINK! THE ONLY MISTAKE YOU WOULD'VE MADE IS NOT HAVING THE GUTS TO POST IT!! IT'S GREAT POETS LIKE YOU WITH A NEVER ENDING TALENT LIKE YOU DISPLAYED HERE,THAT KEEPS THIS PLACE ROTATING ON & ON!!! SO IN OTHER WORDS-KEEP POSTING SO WE CAN KEEP ROCKING!!!!

Reminds me of questions most writers have to pursue when writing autobiographically about their lives. Like you want to share it, but on the other hand, that means perhpas too much inner peeking for the people who might be involved. A difficult choice to make.
A really good "what was I thinking?" poem. Nice work!

| A very good write that really makes the reader look deeper in to the words on the page. Your mind is a awesome thing and your thoughts run deep. Keep releasing these emotions for all to read in time you will heal. I’ve done the same thing and its really helping me. Take care and I enjoyed yet another of your writes. I really liked how you shaped this to really make the reader think about what you were trying to show them. I liked how it flowed and it was a very well written poem. Great job. You have a very good talent at writing..

| Is it okay for me to say censorship? Whatever the case, this is an awesomely talented write. Keep up the great work. I like the ending too. Kinda leaving it out there for the reader to decide what may have become of this person in the "protective shell". |
