I try and try and still you fail
At every turn
At every bend
I carry my weight but you rescind

To give and give
To have no more
These are the pains
That I endure

I've been running in circles
While you stay still
How much of my life
Must you kill

Your excuses drone even as I must pay
You said this was not your way
But lies fall through and so do you
As far as you go this is nothing new

This actually makes sense to me.

Hang in there things will work out even though i don't exactly know what things

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
