Where have you gone?

Contributed by Jaycee on Sunday, 8th May 2005 @ 07:54:25 PM in AEST
Topic: toughstuff

Where have you gone?
I wonder right now
Hoping to reach you
but I don't know how

The silence is defeaning
from you I've not heard
I wait here so patiently
but yet not a word

Reflecting on your life
I so know is quite bad
Conflicting emotions
equally mad and quite sad

But while this matters
in the grand scheme of things
Concerned just for now
hoping the damned thing rings

Moisture stains my eyes
my heart sings its lament
she just has to come back
if only to vent

Waiting here like this
so traumatic indeed
Moving on is no option
Come back I do plead

It's like watching paint dry
my options so few
the only thing that matters
I really miss you

very powerful write. and just let her know you are there for her. don't try to make her talk. my friends tried that with me, which pushed me away. then they all cooled off and just let me know they were there. i trust them all better now. hope it works out!

I really like this poem. Very emotional great write. I can also relate to it. I think it is cool when you can read someone else's words, feelings, & emotions and it can be related to so closely; as if to say they are speaking your words for you because of a similar situation they have apparently been in.
