Why do you love me?
It makes it harder,
So much harder,
To leave you.
I’m overpowered by guilt,
From hurting you.
Yet your still there,
Strong as ever.
As I wilt to the floor once more.
How much longer,
Can you love me?
What will it take until you say,
“No more”?
Will that day ever come?
Should I wait for it?
Or leave you now?
Believe me,
This is the last thing I want to do.
But I can’t see any other way out,
I can’t see me living like this,
For much longer.
It takes all my strength,
Just to get up each day.
To smile and laugh,
To chat and do normal things.
I wish I could do things wholeheartedly.
But my heart is fading away.
Along with my life.
I love you,
I always will.
I don’t want to say goodbye.
I don’t think I can.
I’m sorry.

powerful and good write.i feel like i could leave, too. i don't feel like i'm living anymore. sad thing is; i don't have anyone who loves me like that. so, if i can hold on, i know you can too! hope it works out for the best. keep up the good write.

| it would be soo much easier to leave if they still didn't care, you can never get away, the guilt is just too much to bear |
