You've talked to me about so many things
That lay upon your lonely broken heart
I know that time can ever erase
That one true love that made her mark
You've said so many things to me
And extended your hand for me to take
We both know that our friendship here
Should move slowly for both of our sakes
I normally run from the ones who get close
And i hide where they cannot find me
To prevent the heartache of losing each one
From being stabbed in the back times three
Your heart it lays in a forsaken place
Where only one right now has the key
You try and deny that your feelings are there
But my beautiful friend i see pretty deep
We have so much in common it seems
And we can talk about anything at all
I'm comfortable around you my dear friend
Don't ever allow anyone to make you fall
The sweetest things said come from your heart
And sometimes so deep they make me cry
I don't see a mean bone inside of you
I know your honest, and not full of lies
I hope you know that no matter the cost
I will put my heart here as your friend
There's one thing in life that i know true
Both our hearts have so many things to mend...
I have picked a nickname out for just you
Your what i call my "Dreamer"
I know in time, both our dreams will come true
And then life will be so much sweeter..

Thank You so much OreO! I love and cherished that poem! I'll forever hold the poem in my life/heart as sentimental! I’m speechless… yet, I read it over and over, and I love it… It makes me tear up every time I read it… Yes, our friendship is genuine and beautiful… and whatever else that a beautiful friendship has. My time on here is limited at the moment so I'm unable to read you other poems tonight (Well, this morning, it's 6am) Anyways, BRAVO to you on this one! The first half.....amazing! Well, the rest is good aswell but the first half gets the point across wonderfully! Excellent!

There is a light in the darkness, if we'd only look to see it. It seems that you have found this light, this "Dreamer" to help guide you through the darkness. And for that I am very happy for you.
