Amelioration

Contributed by ForeverAlone on Saturday, 7th May 2005 @ 08:14:49 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

I feel these veins absent of blood
Content and full of your love
My heart that long ago died
Now healed and immortally alive
These lungs that do not breathe
Have finally inhaled and concieved
The beginning of me

My eyes that have became blind
Now sees our love entwined
My hands that have been numb
Feels your hand and mine as one
A silence in my deaf ears
Broken once you became clear
Through the drops of my tears
. . .
Two souls united
When
A life once forever alone
Fatefully met
His heart broken one

A well flowing piece said with a lot of emotion, and with an ending that was truly fitting, although I didn't realize the much deeper meaning until you mentioned it too me, lol. Excellent piece nevertheless, brimming with description and imagery

Clark!!!!!!!! You used it!!!! Gosh... I'm just... tickled!

I waited to comment on the write itself until you posted. It is... quite something. As it weaves along - the reader is carried from hopelessness to hope. It's really quite lovely. And... the conclusion is, of course, very touching.

Wishing you both the very, very best...
