MY MOTHER,,,

Contributed by LOWMAN613 on Saturday, 28th December 2002 @ 04:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: MothersDayPoems

When I was young, you were there holding my hand,
you made things easier for me to understand,
As I got older, you did too,
than I was always there for you,
I bathed and cared for you,
like you did for me,
thats how you raised me to be,
there were times I had to help you eat,
when you could'nt walk,I rubbed your feet,
So many years I was helpless and needed you,so I had to be there to help you get through,
Ursula, My Mother,I praise you each and everyday,
For what you tought and showed me along the way,
Your body lies in Heaven for eternity,
But your spirit will forever live inside me!
Written in loving memory of my mother Ursula

This really got to me, my gram who just passed away was in a nursing home the last 2 years. She never needed that special kind of care. My other Gram did. I am very fortunate my mom is still on the younger side and in good health, that is why I have made sure to say things now. You have earned special~ angel wings~. Our loved ones never really are gone they live on through us....god bless.

Christina I hope you are doing better. I know by this poem how much you have loved your mother. My God bless you and keep watch over you. I know your mother is in Heaven smiling down upon you. *S* Cynthia
