As I walk the darkened halls
I look for a way out
please help me
help me find an exit
an escape from the numbness
I want to feel
what I always thought never existed
I want to heal the wounds
plaguing me each day
I need to find myself
in the sea of nothingness in my soul
you're so far away now
please come back
please come back and reach out to me
with a loving hand
though I may not accept
I need to know that someone out there
knows that I'm here
knows that I need them
please come back
please come help me out of here
I'm begging you in the name of the Light
please come help me
help me heal the wounds
help me feel
what I thought never existed
I need you here with me
here to pull me away
from the numbness
it may seem strange
but I want to be hurt
I want to feel
what every person feels
in the real world
here in the imaginary one
I feel nothing
not even happiness
not even hate
I miss the emotions and feelings
of a normal life
in this plae
numb is all there is
