Power of Pink Floyd

Contributed by Jessica_Saini on Saturday, 28th December 2002 @ 11:00:00 AM in AEST
Topic: mystical

The air is stilled,
the soul is thrilled,
as an overwhelming wave
beats through every particle
of one’s existence.
Light in the darkness,
darkness in the light
of the mind’s eye
as one feels the spirit
of Echoes in the stilled air.
It is sweetly addicting,
yet no drug is it,
that flows through one’s
soul as if it had one
of it’s very own.
Such songs are sung
of heads that are hung,
in mourning or rage,
rebellion and change,
or held high in hopes.
This is the power
of the flower
planted in one’s soul
by Pink Floyd to
bloom and grow forever.
