I sit before you eyes gaze into yours,
I wait for the moment after the pause,
You take a deep breath before reaching to my hand,
The suspense i can no longer continue to withstand,
You tell me you love me,
My heart takes a flutter,
For you have no idea of the words you do utter,
Say it like you mean it you did and i listen,
Magnetic are your eyes and oh how they glisten,
I ponder my thoughts whether i should reply,
Knowing sooner or later i'll say my goodbye,
You're special to me and that you must know,
For feelings are something that i rarely show,
I am not one to wear my heart on my sleeve,
But love you do and that you must believe,
We're lost in this moment time stands quite still,
Give me some time now say that you will,
For i will reply when the time does feel right,
Not now but not never just isnt tonight,
Because my hearts still beating does not mean im ok,
I want you to know and i want you to stay,
Take a look at me now did you mean what you said,
Will you still mean it yet later when you rest down your head,
For the night is still young i have more to say,
But words are not spoken no not today,
The silence among us holds out for a while,
My heart melts quietly as you give a smile,
Feel your touch on my hand and i know its alright,
You'll help me forever continue this fight,
For you know i am broken complete with wounded soul,
I know you will aid me to reach for that goal,
Hold me close to you i feel safe in your arms,
Stop me inflicting these self directed harms,
For im feeling for you what you feel for me,
But whether its apparent i dont know we'll see,
Eyes once magnetic are now lacking life,
I know you hate to know that i resort to the knife,
Im out of your arms our hands no longer touch,
But know that i love you oh so very much.
