Topic: oops

so lay your eyes close,
as to rest the weary truth.
perhaps dreams do bring longer times,
to cherish as you sleep.

so sit silent i will,
as to behold innocence,
for you did not mean to hurt me,
and i did not mean to be leaving you.

as far as i can see,
through the leaving eyes to lies,
a content of never ending,
so i dare you not to wake.

the breaths now that you take seem to
seethe with my fleeting heart,
so stomach all my sores and sorrows,
to understand my consequence.

but you are not for remembering now,
you are fast into your wish,
as my greatest want is one more year,
six days 'til my shirt lays on your shoulder - cold.
