lost in hurricane fate

check your spirit at the dock,
as you reminisce and wish,
cause drown fate your spirit can,
with its gallons of cold, salty irony.
it's in which you are tossed about,
by the waves of perchance and coincidences.
but the winds of change wail gale force,
because our cold front is only nine days away.
the pressure high is near unbearable,
as bond is tried by its muggy weight.
it rains of what will happen next,
to clean up what has become.
thunder cracks the angry spite,
for which the victims hate fate the more.
bright white flashes spark like foresight:
where am I gonna be?
though the storm of unfortunate
rages as our soon to be paths,
i dare us to stand up defiant,
rather then be carried by the wind
