I don't know why the world is so unfair
I don't know why so many people don't care
and I still don't know why when you need someone no ones there

I don't know why I can't sleep at night
I don't know why when your dead you always look for the light
and I still don't know why everything has to be wrong or right

I don't know why I cry so many tears
I don't know why my life is wasted thru the years
and I still don't know why no one can face their fears

I don't know why I'm always the one to blame
I don't know why it's always the same old same
and I still don't know why everyone plays in lifes big game

I don't know why I even try
I don't why I always seem to cry
and I still don't know why everyone thinks they have to lie

I don't know why people are the way they are
I don't know why everything seems so far
and I still don't know why people wish on stars

I don't know why I feel so much pain
I don't know why my life is going down the drain
and I still don't know why it rains.

I don't know why we go by day by day
I don't know why we say the things we say
and I still don't know why we have to do it someone elses way

I don't know why the world picked me
I don't know why but that I just can't see
and I still don't know why things are meant to be the way there meant to be
