SUDDENLY SPRING

"SUDDENLY SPRING!"

The birds are diving,
Twitter patted twirling.
Bird restaurant open for lunch
Day before, covered with snow,
Closed, not even brunch!
Temps were still too low!

Wee ants are crawling
Squirrels totter fences
fancy dances.
Clothes hang silently
Winds become lazy....

Spring arrives suddenly
Tiny seedlings growing.
Suddenly it's Springing!
Clustered dandelions blooming.

Skies are bluer,
Clouds look newer,
Robins are "worm catchers"
Ferocious volume eaters.

Suddenly Spring!
It's an awakening
Mountain pine yawning
My springing heart pining.

I survived another winter.
Springing this year looks better.
Spring refreshes our souls,
After icy 10 belows!

And, with every season,
'Tis truly for a reason,
To be thankful, grateful,
and appreciative.....
Suddenly Spring--forgive!

How fitting this title. Suddenly it just appears. It must be a most relished sight for you in that freezing climate to suddenly become spring. Enjoy.

A masterly work of poetry. The unique gift of keen observance of nature is so evident.
And so is the due gratitude owed to the Lord for each new Spring.
So glad to have you back Connie!
Missed so much!.
This poem is a splendid song of praise and gratitude
KUDOS!
Kudos to the gifted and grateful!
Kudos Connie! Delightful
Warm love
Elizabeth
