Fly, Sad Angel

Contributed by FushigiNaButterfly on Friday, 6th May 2005 @ 01:49:25 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

Sad Angel
Your wings are torn
They sag, bleeding behind you
Ripped and shredded
Feathers scattered in crimson pools around you
And yet, you do not know this
Your eyes are searching
Your heart is searching
Will they ever find peace?
Will you ever find peace?
Sad Angel
I will mend your broken wings
I will mend your broken heart
I shall bandage them in the fabric of my love
I shall embrace you
Spread your wings, Sad Angel
The pain cannot numb you
It cannot paralyze you
Spread your wings, Sad Angel
Fly
Fly, Sad Angel
Leave the bloodied feathers behind
Spread your wings and let the sunlight shine through them
Let them grow into something more beautiful
Let your heart grow into something more beautiful
Sad Angel
Fly
Fly …
Away …

This wasn't too bad at all...Good job.
My favourite line was:
I shall bandage them in the fabric of my love...
