mournful optimist

Opposite myself is me
looking directly back at myself from the front
withholding evidence from me...by me... for me
My mentality is a cause of Natural Selection
I am Darwinism at its finest
drudging through all processed thoughts of my past
Ready to spark a new light...
I sit back - almost lost my balance
so busy doing nothing I completely forgot
my vertical plateau
buttoned up like a warm wool coat
loose with all its hang-ups and hung over
while I hover over this world like pixie dust
or shimmering powders of mink...
I am a soul assassin after your heart
with sand sharp skin to the touch
and eyes destined for euphoric sights
and my painted lips sip the venom-
My analogy will cause cancer to your digital disarray
that sustains life in a state of never ending consciousness...
I lie down and look at the asphalt
your asphysixiating asbestos
and my eyes gleem with pride,
as salt waters fall from yours....
I won
You looked into my eyes and you saw my life-
then you made your salty fluids pour out
and into my wounds....
my womb.... I won
Now all I need is a horseshoe for good luck
and maybe a clear shot,
Because that is me:
The Mournful Optimist
wailing and pleading for life to keep going -
on and on and on...

o.o Wow. That's ... interesting. It's like it means alot, but at the same time it means absolutely nothing. Your diction and syntax are amazing, and I love your title. Awesome work! b^^d |
