I am lost in thought as I walk down the street
Scared to look up at the world so I fix my eyes at my feet
Does any one even notice me?
The girl who fades so easily
I don’t want to stop and smell the roses or breathe in the air
I want to leave this place for this existence is too evil and unfair
I don’t want to be walking now I should jump in front of a car
Think of the mess and how my blood would stick to the tar
What another mesmerizing day oh I feel such subliminal joy
The sun beads down but no rays does my low heart enjoy
Staring down at my dirty black converse sneakers
I think of how
I am so insignificant
