Grit is like dirt
in a city that's hurt
a caustic flirt
will take off her shirt
for a dollar she'll blurt
out empty promises,
she misses
reality's kisses,
but wishes
it's listless
casual blisses
were cheaper
than her pride,
priced to high
she's forced to lie
to every guy,
but why
have them buy
her my my my
if not to fly
to be a happy,
or normal,
or miserable,
for just another day.

Very nice piece---I really like this. The words just fall into each other, very slick...
