You lit the spark, I fanned the fire
hold me love; my burning desire
You warmed me up when I was so cold
take me darling; I'm yours to hold
I thought my heart had been stripped clean
but this love's deeper than anything I could've foreseen
I'm but a shadow of my former self
I keep my emotions in a book upon the shelf
You came into my life unexpected
my life before you was kinda hectic
I love you more now than I did back then,
please help me to forget way back when...
You tasted my wealth; I let you in
now where does this fantasy end and where does it begin?

Fluffy it may be, but very *good* fluff! The eternal infernal questions which we all face at some time or another. unexpected and hectic - now that's a rhyme I wouldn't have thought of. Nice work! |

Very good question? I love the way you reasoned on it! And I find your poetry rather
refreshing also. Different style, different theme. Much imagination here too.
Thanking you so much also for your nice comment on Stitch's poem. We will really miss her.
Warm Love
and nice to meet you

oh wow, amazing, i can relate to almost every word
love does crazy things and sometimes causes us alot of sadness
"I'm but a shadow of my former self
I keep my emotions in a book upon the shelf" that line is great and again i feel this same way
great poem |

Hmmm questions...questions....don't forget to take the time to enjoy!
Refreshing style, it has a light flow on the surface with subtle but deep undertones. |
