Back into This Dance

Watch me dance this rhythm carefully,
Successfully stepping over the much not needed steps,
Watch me in my glory ,
as the heavens sigh at my regrets,
take me back into the rhythm of sweet, sweet thoughtfulness,
take me back into the notes of carelessness and trance,
take me into the arms of the melody that engages in my every motion,
take me back into this dance.
lead me daringly unto the floor of movement lost,
lead me bravely into the beat of my own heart,
let me feel what others approach so cautiously ,
as the heavens sigh in my regrets,
take me back into the land of sweet surrender
in movements embracing each others next,
give me back just one more chance,
take me back into this dance.
Hold me magically as the music’s voice dose soothe,
Hold me tight,
For this moment I cannot bear to lose,
The lights are shining ever so bright
and the night
Holds beauty’s secret,
its like a secret getaway in France,
As you lead me back into this dance.
