The Soaring Dove

Contributed by Mesano on Thursday, 5th May 2005 @ 04:32:19 PM in AEST
Topic: dedicatedpoems

A snow-white dove soars overhead,
Flapping his wings so peacefully,
Saying the things we've left unsaid,
"This is how it was meant to be."

Born anew, a shining star,
Beautiful in every way,
Here to travel, near or far,
With a predecided 'time to stay'.

Living his life the way he's meant,
Fufilling the dreams he is able to,
Grinning or scowling, along he went,
Never lacking new things to do.

But all good things must come to end,
No matter the way they are meant to go,
So enjoy with him the time you spend,
And happiness you shall forever know.
