Exactly What to Expect

-----------____________--------------------

Just passing through the sight of your eyes
I know that I am just another light on the radar
These incoherent thoughts, they seem to corner me
So blink one if by land, and two if by sea

So I know exactly what to expect from you
Yes I know exactly what to expect from you

They call me crazy, you think I give a damn?
I know that I have got to take the biggest chance tonight
Cause I can't count how many times i've lost out on the biggest prize
I'd much rather lose it all than say I never even tried

But I know exactly what to expect from you
Yes I know i'm waiting on nothing from you
I'm just a stranger that you turned your back on
and I guess it's just a sign of the times
but I know i'm waiting on nothing from you

I know just what it's all about
'Cause I live my life from the inside out
Wearing my heart on my sleeve is not just a trend to me
There's never been a single time that you've ever really seen me

And I know exactly what to expect from you
Yes I know i'm waiting on nothing from you
You're just a stranger that you turned your back on
and I guess it's just a sign of the times
and I know i'm waiting on nothing from you
