EVERLASTING CONCRETE ROSE

I am a poet without shame, I am not afraid to express how i feel, i do know right from wrong, but don't practice what i heal
I go through so much pain a day, that most don't go through in a lifetime, I bet you believe that is not so, but reader you do not know
I can't tell a good friend from a bad, and my self-esteem is low

I do not know the meaning of love or why its' never true,
i give up on such things these days, before i'm even through,

I am the one in search of care,
I am the one who is always trying, tissue can't stop my crying, all because my soul is dying

I give in when i am up, i give up when i am down, happiness inside my heart, is nowhere to be found,
I try to make straight A's but always seem to fail, each time i think i'm doin great, i'm only doing well,

I get pressured into doing things, I regret it when i'm through
Each time i get too close to someone, we grow apart too soon

I am a fashion designer, a poem writer, i am not a fighter,
I'm far too weak, my wings are broke, I can't fly higher

You think you can judge me by reading this, then add yourself to my fanlist, reader you do not know, try to walk in my shoes, they will not fit, i'm drunk off of heartbreak potion, wanna take a sip? If you want to enter my drowning world, then ALL ABOARD MY SINKING SHIP!

If you were to look at me, you would never imagine that i was a wreck, i have enemies for being beautiful, but inside i'm not complexed

But the person i admire is me, Ashley Shawntay Houston, I say my name with pride, because only the fittest can survive, and others have comitted suicide,

Out and In, i consist of beauty, i am an angel with a glow, so look for me in the after- life,
my name is ASHLEY, the EVERLASTING CONCRETE ROSE....
