I wished you away
I never thought I’d hear the end
Of my own complaints
I guess that everything’s less broken
when its gone
when you’re trying to piece together shards
Reconstruct reason
Reflect –
There is always a way to fix it
When its no longer your responsibility
Maybe tomorrow I’ll wake up
Slapped with the shock of solitude
And it’ll sink in…
And I can restart…
And we can have memories instead of scars
But right now I’m still waiting
To see your car pull into the yard
Hear your hand on the door
And listen to you list the days complaints
right now you’re still a habit
but maybe tomorrow -
I’ll take up smoking.
