Another Poem For A Friend

Contributed by bass_player16 on Wednesday, 4th May 2005 @ 07:06:06 PM in AEST
Topic: FriendshipPoetry

I sit around sometimes and wonder,
What would it be like?
What would it be like,
To be with her.

Every guy she has been with,
Has hurt her in some way.
I've been good to her,
Or hope I have been.
But there have been others too.

I guess what im getting at is,
I sometimes think,
If only we went out,
Would I be able to make her happy?

I know I'm involved with someone else,
But I still can't help but wonder.
The temptation has been there,
In the past.
But I've always been afraid to ask,
Partly due to the fact,
We are such good friends.

I would not wish,
To have that messed up.
But then,
Whose to say it would get that way?

Point being,
I guess another guy like me,
Or one of her other good guy friends,
Would just take the chance,
And make her life so wonderful.
For thats all it would take right now,
One amazing guy to sweep her off her feet,
Forever.

hmm sounds like your alittle in love with her.
And if your involve with another girl i wouldn't suggest you go for her.Because it will ruin your relationship with your girlfriend.and it might ruin your friendship with her.
Really think about what your gonna do kiddo.
oh by the way well done on the write.
