It is very often that romantic love, which passes so often for real, selfless love, sadly, has a way of making us make all sorts of promises that we will never be able to keep. It's sad how many times these promises are made, and believed in, until they disappoint.
A well-spoken piece, and a very meaningful message.

I WOULDN'T SAY IT UNLEES I REALLY MEAN IT-YOU'RE TOO GOOD TO BE TREATED THAT WAY! IF SOME GUY DOESN'T REALIZE THAT,THEN HE'S THE BIGGEST IDIOT I'VE EVER SEEN!! HOW COULD ANYONE LEAVE SUCH A GREAT PERSON OF LOVE SUCH AS YOU?!! THERE'S THAT SPECIAL SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT DESERVES YOU,& WHEN YOU DO FIND HIM,IT'LL BE A LOVE TO LAST FOREVER!!!! SAD,BUT A RETTY POEM!!!!!

This was a very good poem. and yes it is so true i have been hurt alot of times from so many broken promises. so its hard when you get your heart broken. i hope things get better for you,, great job on writing this poem. it sure does show you the meaning of love. and what can happen to someone who is in love with someone . they can get their heart broken,
