IN THIS BLESSED LAND I HAVE DWELT FOR LONG
BUT NOW I MUST LEAVE
FOR MY ROAD GOES EVER AND ANON
I MUST FOLLOW IT AND SEE TO WHOSE FOOTSTEPS IT LEADS
I SHALL TREAD THIS PATH THROUGH BUSHES AND THROUGH WEEDS
I HAVE WALKED FOR LONG OR SO I FEEL
THOUGH I BE TIRED I MUST NOT KNEEL
ALL WAS DARK ABOUT ME ONCE BUT NOW I SEE A LIGHT SHINE FROM AFAR
WHICH BECKONS ME TO WALK TOWARDS MY STAR
TO UNTIRINGLY PURSUE MY HOPES AND DREAMS
TO STAND AT THE TOP OF THE WORLD AND SCREAM
IT CALLS ME EVER (ROAD) TO FOLLOW IT,
THROUGH DEEP DARK CAVES OR HIGH MOUNTAINS I KNOW NOT, I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO WALK
AND HOPE THAT ONE DAY MY QUEST BE DONE AND THEN I TOO SHALL STOP.
STOP AND REST I SHALL FOR I KNOW THAT THAT FATEFUL DAY SHALL COME
BUT UNTIL THAT DAY I KNOW I MUST WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK WALK
