BELIEVE IT OR NOT AT YOUR FUNERAL I EVEN PRAYED
YOU HAD A HEART OF GOLD
THE REAL STORY WILL NEVER UNFOLD
THE CORRUPTION AND THE HATE
I UNDERSTAND TAKING YOUR OWN LIFE WAS YOUR FATE
I WISH WE COULD TALK AND YOU BLOW SOME GLASS
BUT INSTEAD I'M SITTING HERE HATING ON THE 5-0 THEY CAN KISS MY ***
I UNDERSTAND THAT THE GAME HAD TO END
BUT WHY DID IT HAVE TO TAKE MY FRIEND
HOSTAGE STAND OFF I'LL NEVER BELIEVE
CRANK WHORE IS WHAT IT IS INDEED
OH, HOW SOME HAVE TRIED TO STAND UP AND TAKE YOUR PLACE
THEY WANT TO BE THE MAN THEY'RE A DAMN DISGRACE
FORGET THE METH, THE MONEY, THE GAME, AND THE GUN
YOUR MOM SHOULD BE PROUD TO HAVE RAISED SUCH A LOVING SON
I KNOW IN THE END WHEN THINGS WERE SO TOUGH
THE EMOTIONS YOU CARRIED AROUND HAD TO BE ROUGH
I KNOW IN MY HEART YOUR IN A BETTER PLACE
BUT DAMN IT I MISS SEEING YOUR FACE
THOSE LAST FEW PHONE CALLS KEEP RUNNING THROUGH MY HEAD
FRIENDS TILL THE END YOU SAID BUT NOW WHAT YOUR DEAD
I WILL KEEP OUR FRIENDSHIP ALIVE
YOUR MEMORIES WILL STAY WITH ME TILL I DIE
WITH THESE LAST WORDS I'LL CLOSE, MY FRIEND

| First I am very sorry you lost your friend, it is rough when those things happen. I wrote a poem about a sailor who took his life recently "And you're gone" Second I think you had a rough life, your poetry shows a person who is trapped and hurting, I don't want to say too much about that because I have no right to intrude. Third as far as writing goes it is probably best to edit your own poetry, that way you can say how you feel and use the symbols you want to stand for the words you want not ignoring the fact that kids read poetryt on this site. Sorry about the long comment |

i am very sorry for ur loss...when someone takes their own life it is very sad and we always wonder of the inner pain they must've been feeling
again i am so sorry but this poem is a loving tribute to him, he would love it
