Sudden earthquakes leave remnants and after-shocks
dismantling concrete for further generations
Underneath the debris that was erected high above civilization
we crawl form underneath with eyes toward the silhouette
where the tower tickled the bellies of clouds
As we now look up, we are reminded of our blindness
now we see how necessary it was for the Earth to crack
It serves the reminder that we are the ones built to transcend the clouds
preparing like warriors who patiently await the next road block toward infinity

I like this poem a lot. I think it has a good message about humanity and an excellent use of language. Great job. |
