Everyone’s dreams
Get lost along the way
What you dreamt of yesterday
Isn’t the life you live today

Those who wanted the sun and stars
Were forced to settle for a home
On another dead end street
To match their name that no one knows

It can’t be so wrong
To want so much more for myself
To shoot for big dreams
Before they collect dust on the shelf

Because maybe,
All I might need
Is just one chance
To change destiny

My sacrifice is my dream
And I wish to make it real
Something to hold onto
Something to make me feel

But dust fills my throat
As doubts fill my mind
Knowing all I’d give up
For just one shot in time

But maybe,
That’s all I need
One chance,
To change a destiny

Cuz maybe,
That’s all I need
