Tactical support logistics
Practical and unavoidable
Body positions
Reminiscent of a previous visit
Twenty souls knocking
The boxer keeps fighting
And am I resistant
The elementary change of shades
From dark to invisible gray
Buried sedimentary fossils
Chase the thieving prophets away
A new religion of simple intuition
Mixed with an old tradition
Of a practiced inhibition
The ceremonious circumcision
To the barbaric baptism
It is there fault we act this way
It for them the shade turns dull gray
Stories of satire and slow sadness
A gander of gladness and ghostly greatness
A mirror reflecting a depleted spectrum
The rainbow of tomorrow offers no protection
We have inherited its misfortune
Handed out in proper proportion
The scale weighs a metric ton
With pale utter distortion
Your eyes appear to be stunned
First a fulfillment of fantasy
Then an instilment of democracy
A sudden shift emerges, you see
The rift of family submerges
Cherished value held so dearly, closely
A prayer of hope
Hoping becomes so costly
The story ending
Ending in your legacy
Claiming you knew the way
Pretending you couldnt see
The shade of invisible gray
